On April 29, 2026, we brought together industry experts, public transport operators, and partners in Dresden—with a new format and a clear focus: the DILAX Roadshow has evolved into the Passenger Intelligence Forum.

Since 2024, our Roadshow has fostered in-person exchange around data-driven solutions in public transport, with stops in Freiburg, Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg, and Bern. In 2026, we took this proven concept to the next level.

At the heart of the Passenger Intelligence Forum was the question of how automatic passenger counting is evolving in the age of AI and intelligent data integration. From optimizing traditional occupancy data to new analytics models, origin-destination matrices, and innovative mobility concepts, we explored how data becomes true Passenger Intelligence.

The event was shaped by practice-oriented presentations, concrete use cases, and in-depth discussions around a data-driven and increasingly automated public transport future.
