The transition from school to working life can be challenging for many young people, especially when formal school qualifications are missing or do not directly qualify them to start an apprenticeship. This makes programs that build practical bridges into professional life all the more important.

As part of a vocational training partnership with a non-profit educational organization (GFBM gGmbH) and a specialized vocational school for information and medical technology in Berlin, DILAX has taken the opportunity to provide young people with hands-on insights into the workplace. Through a multi-stage internship program—initially lasting four weeks and later extended to six weeks—prospective trainees gain exposure to real operational processes and can explore which profession best matches their interests and strengths.

For companies, this represents a genuine opportunity to identify and support young talent at an early stage. While this approach requires commitment and dedicated mentoring, it pays off in every respect when interns grow into motivated colleagues.

In this way, we not only gain valuable support today but also invest in the skilled professionals of tomorrow and contribute to creating a working environment where diversity and personal development truly thrive.
